What does FirstPicked actually do?
We check if ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity pick your products, and who they pick instead. Then our team does the work for you. We write buying guides, fix your product pages and email the sites AI quotes most. You see the sales that came from AI.
How do you know a sale came from AI?
At onboarding, we help you add a small code to Shopify. It takes about 2 minutes. The code spots shoppers who come from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI apps. Some AI apps hide where a shopper came from, so the real number is often a bit higher. We can’t tell Google AI Overviews apart from normal Google, so we count them as search.
Can I pay to appear in AI answers?
Not inside ChatGPT’s answers. ChatGPT shows some ads under its answers, marked as ads. But OpenAI says ads can’t change what the answer says. Google sells ads in AI Overviews in many countries. FirstPicked helps you get picked without paying for ads.

Do I need to install an app?
No. At onboarding, you give us your store’s address and we help you add one small code to Shopify. That code counts sales from AI.
